Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut
The rising star maintains considerable online audience
Kai Trump will have plenty of prominent supporters when she starts her LPGA debut on Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses several courses worldwide and frequently competes against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she stated.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Just stay calm."
"He basically suggested to compete and have fun," she continued.
"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, making him rather occupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has competed in only three events in 2024 and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA standings.
However she's able to get advice from golf legend, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He is the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.
"And he's a more impressive person. He suggested me to compete, have fun, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in women's golf at the Annika, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
The LPGA commented that her participation exposes golf to wider groups, specifically among younger fans.
The young star has a massive following and recently launched an exclusive clothing and lifestyle company.
Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
