FC Barcelona Ready for Inaugural Fixture at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend
Barcelona have announced they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host the Bilbao team in domestic competition 30 months since relocating so building work could begin.

Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans are permitted inside under the licence granted. Once fully finished, it will accommodate close to 105,000 fans, up from the previous 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.
Preparatory Events
Barcelona held a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch on 7 November. The club said approval is being pursued from Uefa to host the next European match facing Eintracht in December at the stadium. Previous fixtures took place in the temporary ground.
