Comedian and author David Walliams lost his contract with book publisher.
Acclaimed writer for children and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, according to an announcement.
An official for the company said: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing any new titles by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an review of claims about inappropriate behaviour towards female individuals.
The company declined to specify the reasons for its decision, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
A Prolific Publishing History
Walliams stands as a most prolific writers for young readers, with sales exceeding in excess of 60 million copies internationally in 55 languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
Several of his titles, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies.
His bibliography includes more than 40 books in total, encompassing a holiday title titled *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins this past October.

He first rose to fame on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE several years ago honoring his contributions to the charitable sector and arts community.
