On Monday, the tribunal learned phone records and information recovered from phones logged Ms Wandelt persistently requesting Madeleine's mother for a biological test throughout the past two years.

Madeleine's case in 2007 - at the age of three during a vacation in Portugal - is one of the most publicized child disappearance cases and continues to be unresolved.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

One phone message, presented in court, recorded Ms Wandelt saying: "I realize I'm heavy and unattractive like Madeleine had been, but I know what I know."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's answerphone stated: "Suppose there is a tiny probability that I am she? What then? Isn't that significant for you?"

"I don't want money, I maintain a living here in Poland, I just want to understand," the message continued.

The panel was advised that via electronic messages, SMS messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a biological test, forwarded early photographs to her phone in a bid to demonstrate a likeness to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and stated to have "recollections" from a youth with the McCanns.

The investigator, an investigator with the police force who compiled the evidence, informed the court there "seemed to lack any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt additionally communicated with family friends of the McCanns, according to the communication logs.

On that date, the father picked up a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "incorrect contact information."

On that occasion Ms Wandelt left a message on Mrs McCann's answerphone saying "I won't give up and I plan to establish my position."

The court learned correspondence between the two defendants, in that autumn, planning endeavoring to obtain Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her garbage or from silverware at a restaurant.

"We need to take action," the co-defendant advised Ms Wandelt.
